Ad of the Week: Jennifer Aniston Goes Viral (aka Jen Aniston Sex Tape)

We love the buzzword ‘viral‘ in the advertising world – as much as we might think viral is a cost-effective method of getting attention, I believe getting Jennifer Aniston in this ad wouldn’t have been cheap.

Just 5 days into the day of the uploaded video, there are 6.4 million views at the time of this posting. I love watching Jennifer Aniston (as hot as ever!) and the video – it’s a smart play on all the silly things on the Internet that become viral. With keywords

I think they missed out clips of cute kitties. Isn’t that what the online community loves watching most?!
However, at the end of the day I still am not sure how smartwater comes into the story, I remember seeing it but that is all it is. If brand awareness is the primary objective, it is a job well done. Otherwise, don’t ask me what smartwater is because I still don’t think I know. Jennifer has all my attention :)
